George Dixon International School and Sixth Form Centre is one of the longest established schools in the city, with a history going back well over 100 years. Through each generation it has had to adapt and change to meet the unique needs of its students.
We now serve an inner city and international community and are striving to ensure that we prepare our youngsters to meet the challenges of the new millenium. Our emphasis is on maximising the academic and personal potential of our students.
Opportunities for all students to become responsible citizens and have successful careers are provided as the school, parents and industry work closely together in a spirit of community. I am confident that parents can rely on the school, with its committed staff and international ties, to provide children with an education which will help them achieve to the fullest of their potential.
