Year 7s Storm the Bastille!

On Tuesday 9th of July a group of Year 7 French pupils went on a gastronomic journey to La Bastille Restaurant, a renowned French restaurant in Birmingham city centre.

The Gallic experience started straight away as our pupils were greeted in French and ushered in. No sooner could you say "bon appétit" than they were enjoying breakfast, followed by a little quiz which both girls and boys did well. The chef then demonstrated how to make crêpes (French pancakes), which our pupils were happy to sample...

It was a very successful day and the Year 7s had a great time.
