Girls make Guernsey sports tour a success

Three competetive sports, lots of other fun activities and even a go at sea kayaking, all mixed in with the trials and delights of a week under canvas. This is the fantastic experience from which a number of girls have just returned, thanks to a trip to Gurnsey, expertly organised by Miss Harley, head of PE.

Local schools and clubs joined with our students in some fiercely fought games of rounders, netball and football, so many thanks to Les Beaucamps High School, The Guernsey High School, St Sampsons High School and La Mare De Carteret High School for making GDIS feel so welcome. Also thanks to The Rangers club, the Alfa club and the Rangers and Rovers club.
