BTEC FIRST CERTIFICATE IN PERFORMING ARTS (ACTING)

Q. What is the course structure?

A. The course is made up of three units: one core unit plus two specialist units.

Q. What subjects will I study?

A. Core Unit Acting Specialist Units: Devising Plays Performing Scripted Plays.

Q. How is the course assessed?

A. All units are graded Pass, Merit or Distinction .

Q. What can I do at the end of the course?

A. A BTEC First Certificate in Performing Arts is a first step to preparing for a career in the performing arts industry. It also develops personal skills that are crucial in many areas of employment. Completing the First Certificate will also enable you to go on to a more advanced course.
